“Unveiled at SEMA 2015, this 1992 VW Corrado received the VIP treatment from Stitch & Stereo! Our main goal with this interior was to be over the top in detail and clean lines. The entire car is wrapped in a two-toned cream Ultraleather and taupe distressed sueded leather. Real cream leather from Relicate Leather can be found throughout the cabin of the Corrado. The cream wool carpet bound in Ultraleather and the medium neutral suede headliner tie everything together. Genuine OEM European RHD components made the conversion go smoothly, which provided a great base for every other part and panel to be shaved or modified.
Modifications include:
Engine cover to match interior cream/taupe leather
Fully flattened and smoothed floor
Momo Millenium Evo steering wheel, which we rewrapped in the two-tone theme
Recaro Sportster CS front seats, completely wrapped and painted
Rear seats reshaped to match front Recaro seats
One-piece pillars with Euro style shoulder belts
Custom gauge surround and dash inserts to accommodate a double-DIN head unit
Custom accessory gauges and late-model Corrado gauges
One-off trunk enclosure housing a built-in sub box
Custom luggage style chest built to contain JRi ride-height adjustable shocks pump
